After six thoroughly enjoyable years at The MFG, I have decided to move on and in September I will commence work at The Grammar School at Leeds.
My intention was always to go out on a high and cannot think of a better place to “sign off” than at my final game in Cape Town under the shadow of Table Mountain.
I would like to thank all the parents and players who have supported the rugby at school and contributed towards six very successful years. To field 3-5 teams every Saturday requires a huge team effort where everyone plays their part. A big thank you to the parents who make lunches, the players who stay committed, the dads who help on the touchlines and the coaching staff who are ever present. School rugby would not be possible without all of these contributions.
I would like to wish all the players the very best for the future. I hope to hear from Mr Christian and Mr Fryer about their individual and team successes in subsequent years and nothing would give me more pleasure than to be invited to return as a spectator to watch them win a Yorkshire Cup next year.
A rugby player is nothing without passion and commitment and it has been a pleasure and a privilege working with so many players who share my passion and enthusiasm for this great game. I wish you all the very best.

Mr Sprott
you have been great for MFG
organising the rugby
all the trips and tours
its a shame to see you leave tho
but all the best at your new school!!
What a way to round off your time at the MFG. I am sure it has made a lasting impression of the boys and good memories for you to take to your nest post.
Thanks
It would be great to take Rugby Supporters Tours and enjoy playing with different teams.
