The lads left Sun City and transferred to Pilanesberg Park for a 2 night stop including a game drive. We got up at 5:15 in the freezing cold and took to the 4wd vehicles.
The drive was absolutley amazing and we told we were very lucky with what we saw. We got off with a few false starts as Adam scremaed for the Ranger to stop as he thought he had spotted something that later turned out to be a bush!!
After that we spotted a family of black Rhinos that the ranger hadnt seen for 6 months. Then we saw a lion and lioness eating a deer they had recently killed - literlally 10 metres away. We saw giraffes and empalas and wilder beast. Adam made up for his previous error by spotting a glimpse of an elephant although it was some distance away. Finally we saw 2 jackals and a wild cat fighting over a dead empala.
