Sun City

The days activity was Sun City and the Valley of the Waves water park. When we arrived we found the cast of Coronation Street filming a Xmas special. They asked if we would be extras and spent the next 2 hours filming with Chesney, Kirk and Cilla! It involved being on the beach and watching a talent contest. All the lads took their tops off to get their muscles on national TV. We all had prominent positions and should feature - especially Danny Galindo who will stand out a mile wearing his pink hat. Simon Linnit was well placed as well. The lads acting skills were tested as we had to chat and laugh (miming - without speaking). This proved to be a task too far for Tom Harrison who for some reason found it impossible to move his lips without speaking much to the annoyance of the director. After filming the lads went on all the slides and huge wave pool. A school hockey team turned up with bikinis on to round off a top day for the lads. As I am writing this they have all lined up their sun loungers in a long row facing the big group of girls (not very subtle but effective).
