The Flea Market

We arrived at the Flea Market where the tradesmen started rubbing their hands together at the amount of money they would fleece from us. Bartering skills varied amongst the boys who were pounced on as soon as they arrived. The worst were definatley Adam Irving who ended up buying lots of things he didnt want because he couldnt say no - "it was like they were holding a gun to my head!!". Adam would have bought an elephant if they had offered it to him. Harry Eastwood wasnt much better and spent up. Mr Christian was much better and being the miser he is wouldnt purchasse anythng for more than rock bottom prices. At the flea market the lads also had a snake show and went to see a man living with 40 deadly snakes for 110 days in a glass box - very bizarre! Simon Linnit, Briggsy, Tom Rowan and Mr F all held a big python whilst others preferred t keep their distance.
